We like to get an idea of the task in hand, to understand client values and what makes their product or service different from everyone else's. We will look at the market they are targeting including their competitors.
Clients will have objectives and targets and possibly ideas of their own. They will all be important because remember there will be no one better than them who understand their business.
Once we understand the brief we can work out an estimate based on the budget. We deal with private, public and third party organisations so we are experienced in working with budgets of all sizes.
Before we start work we will ask the client to take our estimate away to reflect on, with a copy of our terms of business. We will need a signature before our creative team can start the brief. We break our estimates down into two main areas, creative work and sourced services so that the client can see exactly what they are getting for their money.
We will be busy researching, sketching, creating mood boards, exploring different approaches in between meeting with the client to get their thoughts, It can be tiring, but good design comes from understanding needs and good, old fashioned hard work. We base our estimate on how much time we envisage it will take to complete a brief.
We will not stop the creative process until we have completed the final artwork to the client's satisfaction.
We only work with printers and production specialists who have a similar dedication to quality and service as our own.
Before production begins we will need the client to sign off a proof of the artworks to acknowledge that they are happy with our work, then we will monitor the print progress for them to ensure that production is completed on time.
On completion of the brief we will present the client with an invoice for payment. We will follow exactly what we proposed to them in the estimate so there will be no surprises, if we incur any additional costs during the brief we notify the client in writing.
We love to hear how well we are doing so we ask our client's if they don't mind giving us some feedback on how we preformed so we can maintain our high standards. We have a short questionnaire to collate their thoughts but we are also happy to have a chat over a coffee.
